Responsibilities and Duties For General Manger & Project Manger

A General Manager in the field of Civil Engineering plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing various aspects of construction and civil infrastructure projects. Their responsibilities are diverse and encompass both technical and managerial aspects

Job Responsibility

General Manager is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of industrial, government project.
Must be capable of managing multiple projects at a time.
To work on project cost and saving parameters.
To overseeing project teams, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Maintaining the Financial Cash Flow from Client as well as on Site Expenditure
Timely construction reports, such that monthly reports, quality reports etc.
Checking entire GFC drawings & financial control on the design part of the project as per the contract.
Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines.
Allocate resources and personnel effectively.
Monitor project progress.
Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations
Prepare project budgets and cost estimates.
Understand client needs and provide solutions that meet their objectives.
Collaborate with clients on project changes and updates.
Implement safety protocols and monitor compliance with safety regulations.
Present project updates to senior management and clients as needed.
Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, codes, and regulations.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
